Miami Beach Senior High SCUBA Club

Miami Beach Senior High School’s SCUBA Club, Co-Founded by Celebration of the Sea Founder and CEO, Patxi Pastor, treated students to an extraordinary opportunity to dive with International SCUBA Diving Hall of Famer, Captain Spencer Slate, in 2009, and to get up close and personal with some amazing sea life featured in over 60 TV shows, including 60 Minutes, Discovery, Animal Planet, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Students encountered Barracuda, Goliath Grouper and Nurse Sharks as well as many others.
